Who is in the process of obliquely warding at me about how Mungo's is "missing a Healer," asking what "it's worth to me" to find him, & otherwise trying to play mind games. And Leopold's apparently at [address] — last time Avery left a victim for us, it wasn't a trap, but still. Possibility? Not going for him alone, anyway.)
A. Readying the medical supplies; B. Apparently Leopold might try to hit me when he wakes up. Given it's Avery, presuming playing with memories; C. Did he (Poldy, he) get the Order-relevant memories wiped yet?

So this whole column thing is a joke, right? Here's a better one:
So a polar bear and an Eskimo walk into an igloo. And the polar bear says to the Eskimo, "Brrrr! It's cold in hrrrr!"
And the Eskimo says, "Cold in her? I barely know her!"
Then, a couple of days later, the same polar bear and the same Eskimo walk into a different igloo. And, again, the polar bear says to the Eskimo, "Brrrrr! It's COLD in hrrrrr!"
Now, having learned his lesson from the last time, the Eskimo says, "Now wait just one second! Last time, when you said that, I thought you said, 'Cold in her' instead of what you meant to say, which was, 'cold in here.' That caused me a great deal of confusion and I'm sure it would for anybody else; you should work on enunciating better!"
So the polar bear said, "I apologise. You see, it's hard for me to enunciate because I am a bear."

[Fralice, Moody, Nic, Elphias]Healer's note for everyone's reference: Leigh came and got me from the hospital the other day, before James exploded all over his journal, and took me to Caradoc's. Sirius has Dolohov in Caradoc's basement. I've no idea what all Black and/or Dearborn might've done to D. (beyond breaking his knee pretty thoroughly), but whatever it was triggered a seizure. Antonin can endure being kept around for questioning, but I'm going to need to insist that somehow we put leashes on Sirius and Caradoc or it's likely they're going to trigger more seizures, which is: a. dangerous, especially if they don't know how to handle them (which — Sirius was trying to hold Antonin down during the episode, so I'm fairly certain that they don't); and b. cruel and unnecessary punishment, even for a Death Eater.
Thoughts/suggestions?
[Narcissa]On a scale of one to ten, ten being perfectly content and one being, "I'm sleeping on the sofa if I attempt this," how would you feel about me smacking Sirius on the back of the head? Just a little one.

(I'm perfectly willing to admit to being sentimental, at the moment. But considering I just explained my thoughts on good and evil in a way that (I hope) will not result in Bellatrix killing me, I think that's allowed.)

Especially considering the marriage laws, the ever-deterorating state of things, the fact that Rabastan Lestrange is an irritating as nothing else. But there's the timing, for one thing. And the fact that Leigh's their friend, so there's some blatant disrespect on top of that.
I hope I'm not turning into my father or, God forbid, his rabbi about this. Harping on about who's sacrificed or suffered what by whose hands, all by way of pointing out that we can't just run around and insult Bellatrix in public, to her husband, with names attached. But there's something to be learned from the tragedies that have happened before, isn't there?
I love you. What do you say to a night for just the two of us sometime this week?

[Order (sans Moody) & Gideon]He's awake. Visiting hours can't be all the time, as he needs to rest, but interested parties are welcome. Some general ground rules: don't over-excite him. Don't bring him his crutches or his prosthetic if he asks for either. Do not bring him alcohol if he asks for it. Don't go for a visit with the intent of telling him about anything earth-shattering unless: a. it is of life-and-death importance; or b. you plan to tell him in a delicate fashion. In general? Let him rest — God knows he needs it.
And, most importantly: if you visit and you notice any behaviour that is out of the ordinary — and I do mean anything. Shortness of temper (moreso than usual, I mean), difficulty concentrating, impulsiveness, any behaviour that seems off to you at all — then tell me, Frank, and Alice immediately.
[Minerva]…all of the above said: he's asked that you not pay him any visits. If you want to send him anything, I'll gladly facilitate, but… I'm sorry. I'm going to need to ask you not to disturb him.

[Order]Alastor's alive. Doubt he'll be waking up for a bit yet — a day or two, at least. And we'll need to keep an eye on him for a while after that, to watch out for any brain damage & its effects. Speaking of eyes: he'll be waking up without one of his. Considering what we brought him back from, the road from here is going to be long, and difficult, and he's not going to be all of what he was before the duel, but as long as he bloody cooperates takes the advice we give him & doesn't give up, his chances of recovering are good.
[Narcissa]I'll be back late tonight, possibly early tomorrow. I've got a difficult patient — stable, but still unconscious & I want to keep an eye on him for a while yet.

Narcissa, Leigh is the friend I've mentioned a few times — the bright, frustrated one. Leigh, as we were just discussing, Narcissa is lately my fiancée and is forwarding information to our side, as it comes to her.
Obviously, this isn't the best forum for this, nor the ideal one, and I'd like it if the two of you could meet face-to-face at some point, especially considering what I'm proposing. But, in the meantime: Leigh is in need of new living arrangements. We, Narcissa, are looking for some as well. I, personally, would like to keep both of you safe, and if the house is going to be on the large side anyway, there would be room for Leigh... Shall we discuss?
